The Winter Season
Winter brings for us not only bitter icy cold winds, snowfall, hailstorm and the like but also new and fresh vegetables of innumerable variety, luscious fruits and fragrant flowers. In spite of the cold, one enjoys the morning walk. The air may be chilly, but it is also refreshing. The sun is never as pleasant as it is during the winter months. The sky is clear and the weather delightful. People generally go out for picnics and excursions during winter. One never feels tired during this season, however hard one may work. Winter is the season of charming beauty. The earth enveloped in mist in early morning seems to be a wonderland. A moolit night of winter is very beautiful. Gardens look beautiful during this season. The bright roses, marigolds and dahlias make us forget our cares and anxieties. The winter flowers are not less beautiful than those which bloom is spring. How charming it is to walk in a garden in winter!
(सी) सर्दी का मौसम
शीत ऋतु हमारे लिए न केवल कड़वी बर्फीली ठंडी हवाएँ, हिमपात, ओलावृष्टि आदि लाती है, बल्कि असंख्य किस्मों की नई और ताज़ी सब्जियाँ, सुस्वादु फल और सुगंधित फूल भी लाती है। ठंड के बावजूद मॉर्निंग वॉक का लुत्फ उठाते हैं। हवा ठंडी हो सकती है, लेकिन यह ताज़ा भी है। सूरज कभी भी उतना सुखद नहीं होता जितना सर्दियों के महीनों में होता है। आसमान साफ है और मौसम सुहावना है। सर्दी के मौसम में आमतौर पर लोग पिकनिक और सैर-सपाटे के लिए निकलते हैं। इस मौसम में कभी भी थकान महसूस नहीं होती, चाहे कोई कितनी भी मेहनत कर ले। सर्दी आकर्षक सुंदरता का मौसम है। सुबह-सुबह कोहरे में लिपटी धरती एक वंडरलैंड लगती है। जाड़े की मूढ़ रात बड़ी सुहावनी होती है। इस मौसम में बगीचे खूबसूरत लगते हैं। चमकीले गुलाब, गेंदा और डहलिया हमें हमारी परवाह और चिंताओं को भूल जाते हैं। सर्दियों के फूल उन फूलों से कम खूबसूरत नहीं होते जो वसंत में खिलते हैं। सर्दियों में बगीचे में टहलना कितना मनमोहक होता है!
